Meeting House Wed 6/11/24: A welcome return for one of our own and great insight into Rod's latest project - producing booklets from his Outer Hebridean excursions over a period of several years.
One time PDCC member, turned pro-photographer, Rod Ireland is a natural speaker and took the packed house with him on his journey from capture to publishing. With some fascinating insights into collating his images into a cohesive story of "Outer Hebrides - On the Edge". A human interest story of dereliction and loss of amenity told through what seemed to be an unconnected series of hundreds of images, refined into a sequence connected not just by the story they tell, but by the elements in the images themselves.
